What we collect
When you sign up for InterviewFetch, we collect your email address, and optionally your LinkedIn profile text, uploaded resume, and a āfavorite thingā you share during onboarding. We use this information to generate your personalized daily fetch emails.
How we use it
Your data powers Balto. Specifically:
- Your LinkedIn profile or resume helps us match you with relevant job openings
- Your email address is where we send your daily fetch
- Your favorite thing personalizes your experience in ways you might not expect
- We never sell your data. Period.
Third-party services
We use the following services to run InterviewFetch:
- Supabase for authentication and database storage
- Stripe for payment processing (we never see your full card number)
- Resend for transactional emails
- Vercel for hosting
Each of these services has their own privacy policy. We chose them because they take data protection seriously.
Data retention
Your account data is stored as long as you have an active account. If you cancel, we keep your data for 30 days in case you change your mind, then delete it permanently. You can request immediate deletion at any time by emailing support@interviewfetch.com.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you logged in. No tracking cookies. No ad pixels. No creepy stuff.
Your rights
You can:
- Request a copy of all data we have about you
- Request deletion of your account and all associated data
- Update or correct your information at any time through your dashboard
- Unsubscribe from daily fetch emails (though that kind of defeats the purpose)

We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You have the right to know what data we collect, request deletion, and opt out of any future sale (there won't be one). Contact us at support@interviewfetch.com to exercise these rights.
EU residents (GDPR)
Our legal basis for processing your data is your consent (when you sign up) and our legitimate interest in providing the service you requested. You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, and port your data. Contact us to exercise any of these rights.
Changes to this policy
If we make significant changes, we'll email you. We won't bury changes in a 40-page document and hope you don't notice.
